Download & install

GhostPhone installs differently from normal apps — for good reason.

  1. Check compatibility first. Download the APK, install it, and open it once. If it says "Not supported on this device", that phone can't run GhostPhone — and you've reset nothing.
  2. Back up your phone. Setup requires a factory reset so the app can become the device's manager.
  3. Factory reset, then on the Android welcome screen tap the screen 6 times to open QR enrollment.
  4. Scan the QR code from your purchase confirmation. Android installs GhostPhone and activates your subscription in one step.
  5. Set your secret code and you're done.
Why a reset? Becoming the device "owner" (which lets the app create a truly separate, hidden phone) can only happen on a fresh device. It's a one-time step.

FAQ

Which phones are supported?

Any Android phone that allows multiple users — Google Pixel, Android One, and AOSP-based phones generally do. Many Samsung consumer phones (especially Korean/carrier models) limit users to one and are not supported. The app checks for you before any reset. iPhone is not supported.

Do I need to create an account?

No. No account, no email. Your license is an anonymous code, and your subscription status only appears inside the hidden, code-protected settings.

Will anyone see "GhostPhone" on my card statement?

No. Charges appear as FIZZ LABS Co. Choose annual or a prepaid code to reduce how often a charge appears at all.

What is the panic code?

An optional second code for coercion. It can hide the hidden phone until you disarm it (default) or permanently wipe it. It never blocks returning to the normal phone, and never destroys the decoy.

Is this legal / who is it for?

It's a privacy tool for people who need to keep a personal phone private when handing over or sharing a device. Use it lawfully and in line with local rules.
